中井正子(Masako NAKAI)

東京芸術大学音楽学部附属高校在学中、パリ国立高等音楽院に留学。ピアノ科を審査員全員一致の1等賞首席で卒業。また、室内楽、研究科を経て、ジュネーヴ国際音楽コンクール第3位入賞、ロン・ティボー国際音楽コンクールのフランス音楽特別賞他を受賞。
パリ、リヨン、ワルシャワ等でのリサイタルの他、国内でも都響、新日フィル等を初め多数のオーケストラと共演、リサイタル、放送等の演奏活動、またフォンテックよりドビュッシーとスクリャービンのCDが出ている。
1995〜6年ドビュッシー全ピアノ作品を日本人として初めて4夜にわたって演奏。また1997年にはラヴェルの全ピアノ作品を2夜にわたって演奏。1998年よりショパン没後150年を記念して5回のショパン演奏会を開催。2003〜6年にはシューマン・シリーズが開催され、好評を得た。
楽譜「ラヴェル・ピアノ作品集」、「ドビュッシー・ピアノ作品全集」を校訂、刊行中。また、留学記「パリの香り、夢みるピアノ」をショパン社より出版。現在、2度目のドビュッシー・ピアノ作品全曲演奏(主催・朝日新聞社)、さらに全曲CD(ALM RECORDS/コジマ録音)、全曲楽譜校訂によるドビュッシー・プロジェクトが進行中。桐朋学園大学、東京芸術大学講師。
While studying at the high school affiliated to the Tokyo University of Fine Arts, Masako Nakai went to study at the Paris Conservatoire de Musique, from which she graduated with 1st class honors. In addition to this, Masako Nakai won 3rd prize in the Geneva International Music Competition, and a special prize for a performance of French music at the Long-Thibaud International Music Competition.
Masako Nakai has given recitals in Paris, Lyon and Warsaw, as well as frequent appearances with top Japanese orchestras such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. She also has a large number of radio broadcasts to her credit, and recordings of music by Debussy and Scriabin released on the Fontec label. In 1995-96 Masako Nakai became the first Japanese pianist to perform the complete solo works of Debussy in a series, and this was followed in 1998 by a series of the complete works of Maurice Ravel. In 1999, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of Chopin, Masako Nakai gave five Chopin recitals, and in 2003, she began her highly acclaimed series of Schumann recitals.
At present, Masako Nakai is engaged in editing the complete works of Maurice Ravel and of Claude Debussy. Her memoir, “The Aroma of Paris, the Piano of Dreams” has been published by the Chopin Publishing Company. Masako Nakai is also working on her Debussy Project, which involves recitals and recordings of the complete works of that composer, and a new edition of the scores. Masako Nakai also lectures at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music.
