ベルリンはドイツ出身でもないのに（アメリカのロス出身）ベルリンと名乗っています。ジョルジオ・モロダープロデュースのシンセが効いたテリのため息もののダンスポップは結構好きです。彼等をメジャーとしたのはトム・クルーズ主演の８６年ヒット映画『トップガン』愛のテーマとして使われた『愛は吐息のように』です。その後テリはソロとなり、クロフォードとブリルはハード・ロック系のビッグ・Ｆを結成する。ベルリンはリミックス、ライヴアルバムを2000年にリリースしたが、その後新録をリリース予定。

Berlin named themselves as Berlin though they are not from Germany (Los Angeles in the U. S.). I like Terri's breath-taking dance pop with synthesizer produced by Giorgio Moroder. "Take My Breath Away" used as the love theme of "Top Gun", Tom Cruise's hit movie in '86 made them major. Later, Terri became solo and Crawford and Brill formed hard rock band Big F. Berlin released the remix and live albums in 2000, and plan for the new recording to be released later.
