元はパンクだったアダム＆ジ・アンツはマルコム・マクマレンのコンサルティングにより、アパッチ・ファッションとアフリカン（ズンドコ）・ビートで一気にメージャーな存在となりました。ちょっと納得いかないが、ニュー・ロマンチックと言われていた。

と組んだトリオ。サウンドはDJ的な味付けの利いたエスニックなニューウェイヴといった感じでAdam
& The AntsとかCulture Clubにも通じるものが有ります。元Deaf
SchoolのClive LangerやToni Viscontiがプロデューサーとしてサポート。
This is a trio that a photographer Kate and
DJ Jeremi with dread hair (so called Reggae
hair) and beggar's look as front persons
teamed up with a musician Paul. The sound
is a kind of Ethnic New Wave with DJ taste
that has some similarity with Adam &
The Ants or Culture Club. Clive Langer of
ex-Deaf School and Toni Visconti supported
them as producers.

元は、Toto Coeloという名前だったらしいラテンっぽいグループ名です。全て女性で、ガール・バンドと言うより、歌って踊るガール・グループです。1982年に英国では8位まで行ったデビュー・シングル「I
Eat Cannibals」は、エレクトロなジャングルビートで、ポイント高し。
Their name was originally Toto Coelo and
it has some Latin root. All girls and they
are a singing ang dancing Girl Group rather
than a Girl Band. The debut single "I
Eat Cannibals" which climbed up to the
8th position in the U. K. in 1982 has the
highest point with Electro Jungle Beat.
