  リミックスは下の『Musique Non Stop』に収録されていますが、オリジナルはアルバム『ヒカシュー』に収録。ヒカシューは、気分が滅入っている時に聞くと余計に滅入りますが、この『The Model』と『パイク』はとても好きです。

  The remix version is contained in the below "Musique Non Stop", the original is contained in the album "Hikasu". I feel more depressed if I listen to Hikasu when I am depressed, but I like this "The Model" and "Pike".

  4曲入りミニアルバム『99 LUFTBALLOONS』に収録されています。gmlは、他にも『ラジオスターの悲劇』などのカヴァー・ミニアルバムをリリースしている洋楽エレポップ系カヴァー・ユニットです。「ハイパーミックス」というからイケイケなのかと思ったのですが、意外と渋いアレンジ。

  It is recorded on the mini-album "99 LUFTBALLOONS"containing 4 tracks. gml is the overseas Electro Pop cover unit which has also released cover mini-albums, such as "Video Killed The Radio Stars". An arrangement as astringent although it thought whether it may be too hyper since it was called "the hyper-mix" as unexpected.

  確か、MINT SOUNDからのアルバムに収録されていたと思います。
  ＜甘太郎氏＞「Attack Of Mushroom People」という1986年に発表されたネオGSのコンピレーションに収録されています。ミントサウンドのHPによると2000年1月に再発されているようです。更に「Neon Lights」はThe Surf Coastersが1997年のアルバム「Surfdelic」でカヴァーしています。（いずれもテクノでもエレクトロでもないですが・・・）

  I think it was in the album released on MINT SOUND.
  <Mr. Amataro> It's contained in the Neo GS compilation "Attack Of Mushroom People" released in 1986. According to Mint Sound HP, it was re-issued in January, 2001. "Neon Lights" was also covered by The Surf Coasters in the album "Surfdelic" in 1997. Both of them are not Techno nor Electro, though...

ヒカシューの巻上公一のプロデュースにより日本のテクノポップ・アーティスト達による元祖テクノポップおやじのクラフトワークへ捧げるトリビュートです。ヒカシュー系、P-Model系の人達が目立ちます。『ザ・モデル』はヒカシューが80年にカヴァーした（CDの資料によると世界で初めてのクラフトワークのカヴァーであると言っている）物のリミックスである。

This is a tribute album to original techno pop old men Kraftwerk by Japanese techno pop artists which Hikasu's Koichi Makigami produced. The people related to Hikasu and P-Model play key roles. "The Model" is the remix of the cover song by Hikasu in '80 (according to the notes in the CD, it is said that it's the first Kraftwerk cover in the world).

  HATとｓて細野晴臣とも活動するAtom Heartのプロジェクトです。チリのSantiagoでレコーディングされたKraftwerkのラテン・カヴァー集。かなり捻りの利いたカヴァーですが、Kraftwerkの原曲の良さが再認識できます。

  This is a project by Atom Heart who also works as HAT with Haruomi Hosono. Kraftwerk's Latin cover collection recorded in Santiago in Chili. While they are quite twisted covers, you can find the excellence of Kraftwerkl original song-writing.

  ＜nr8氏＞フィンランドのクラシック・アコーディオン・トリオ。全９曲中５曲がクラフトワークのカヴァー。"Pocket Calculator""Computer Love""The Robots"の３曲は基本的に"The Mix"ヴァージョンを踏襲していて、打ち込みのパーカッションにアコーディオンとヴォコーダーが乗っています。ヴォーカルはオリジナルよりもかなりフラットです。後半の"Model""Transistor"はアコーディオン三重奏のインストにアレンジされています。

  <Mr. nr8> The classic accordion trio in Finland. Five out of the 9 tracks are the covers of Kraftwerk. Three tracks, "Pocket Calculator""Computer Love"" The Robots", have followed "The Mix" version fundamentally, and an accordion and vocorder have ridden on the programmed percussion. Vocal is quite flat compared to the orginal.
  "Model" & " Transistor" of the second half are arranged to the instrumental of an accordion trio.

  • A Bass Tribute To Kraftwerk [1998] PANDiSC
    Basskraftというのはユニット名ではなくて、単なるアルバムタイトルかもしれません。Robert BartkoとIvan Kopasという人達によるもの。PANDiSCというのは、一応マイアミのBASS専門レーベルのようですが、僕の知っているマイアミBASS（エロ系）とは違い、とてもおとなしいBASS。というか、ほとんど普通のカヴァーをしているように聴こえます。

    Basskraft may not be a unit name, it may be the title of album. It's produced by Robert Bartko and Ivan Kopas. While PANDiSC seems to be Miami's BASS label, it is quite gentle and different from (erotic) Miami BASS I know. It sounds almost like normal cover versions.

    試しにどんな物だろうと思って買った1枚。19曲も詰まっています。全体的にクラフトワークっぽいけど、明らかにこの曲をパロッたというものは見当たりません。ちょっと単調なテクノにも聴こえる。

    I bought as a trial to see what it sounds like. It contains 19 tracks. While it is Kraftwerk-esque overall, there are notracks that took particular original tracks as parody. It also sounds like a monotone Techno.
  • Retroish [1998]

カヴァーではなく、リスペクト型フォロアーですね。リリースはトリビュートでも紹介されているCleopatora系Hypnoticからされています。バンドの住所はデンマークとなっていますので、デンマーク出身のバンドではないかと推測します。

This is a respect type follower. They were released on Hypnotic, a division of Cleopatora, that was mentioned in TRIBUTE page. I guess that they are from Denmark as their address was in Denmark.

Nachtwerk

• Die Roboter [1991]
  バンド名からしてクラフトワークのクローン系だと推測しますが、この曲しか知らないので、たまたまカヴァーしたのか、クラフトワーク専門なのかちょっと分かりません。「デ・ロボテル」とドイツ語で歌っているのでドイツ出身なのでしょう。

  According to the band name, I guess it's a Kraftwerk clone, but I am not sure if they just covered it or they are specialized to Kraftwerk only as I know this track only. As they sing "Die Roboter" in German, I guess they are from German.

Muteからリリースされた（多分）スロヴェニア系アーティストによるKraftwerkトリビュート集。LaibachとBorghesia以外の名前は聞いた事がありません。ダーク・インダストリアル系（ちょっと苦手）とテクノ系、半々といった感じです。

This is the collection of trubute songs to Kraftwerk by (probably) Slovenia artists released on Mute. I have never heard their names except Laibach and Borghesia. There are about 50/50 for Dark Industrial (I am a bit weak at) and Techno.

内容の方はさておいて、Vol. 1共々、ジャケのセンスはよくないです。

Cracking the code: tribute to kraftwerk

チェコ（Mare Nigrum、Waves）、オーストラリア（Beam Up）、カナダ（Jun-Jun Clinic）、アメリカ（残り全て）のアーティスト達によるクラフトワーク・トリビュート。ドラムンベース、ブレイクビーツ、インダストリアル（これは好きじゃない）等、スタイルの変化が楽しめると言う意味では、手持ちの海外トリビュート・アルバムの中ではいい方だと思います。一番カッコよかったのはDybamichromeの『The Robots』のカヴァー。

This is a tribute album to Kraftwerk by the aritists from Czech Republic (Mare Nigrum, Waves), Australia (Beam Up), Canada (Jun-Jun Clinic) and the U. S. (all the rest). It is a better part of the overseas tribute albums I have as I can enjoy the changes of style such as Drum'n' Bass, Breakbeats and Industrial (which I don't like). The coolest one was Dybamichrome's cover of "The Robots".

Technicolour: A Techno Tribute To Kraftwerk

どっかで聞いたような名前の知らないバンドによるトリビュート。Elementの『Sex Object』のカヴァーは、オリジナルよりもセクシーな仕上げです。CacaseというこのレーベルはHypnotic Recordsからライセンスでリリースしたみたいです。もう一つ、『Enter The Mix - a nonstop techno tribute to Depeche Mode & Kraftwerk』という「どっちかにせー」と言いたくなるトリビュートをリリースしています。

A tribute by the bands I do not know while they sound somehow familiar to ears. The cover version of "Sex Object" by Element is done in a more sexy fashion than the original. This Cascade label released this licencing from Hypnotic Records. They also released another tribute called "Enter The Mix - a nonstop techno tribute to Depeche Mode & Kraftwerk". They should have decided one of the two.

＜Bitter特派員＞スウェーデンのEnergyレコードからリリースされているシンセポップ、ボディ・ユニットによる2枚組トリビュートです。それぞれが持ち味を活かしてうまくカヴァーしています。

<Correspondent Bitter> This is a double CD tribute album by Synth Pop and Body units released on Swedish Energy Records. Each did a nice cover leveraging their character.
