ミカドは細野晴臣氏主催のノン・スタンダード・レーベルから第一弾アーティストとして日本に紹介されたフレンチ・ヌーヴェル・ポップの男女ユニットである。パスカルの空気のようなヴォーカルとチェルキンスキーのテクノポップ・サウンドがおしゃれなのです。チェルキンスキーは９７年に長い沈黙を破りソロ・アルバムを発表した。

Mikado is a French nouvelles pop male/female unit who was introduced to Japan as the first artist from Non-Standard Label owned by Haruomi Hosono. It's stylish with Pascale's airy vocal and Czerkinsky's techno pop sound. Czerkinsky released his solo album in 1997 breaking his long silence.
<Correspondent. hymn> Mikado is taken from the kids game if I recall correctly. I kind of remember the picture taken in front of Pachinko shop in Kawaramachi Street in Kyoto.
