Minty Fresh is a Chicago-based Shibuya-styled? label founded by Jim Powers. The logo is cute as it started with the logo mark. Many of the artists are loose from Neo Acoustic to Lounge, and Kahimi Karie are released on it in the U. S. I recommend "Electro" the Aluminum Group and Floraline while Guitar Pop is main. As Minty Fresh page is kitsch and retro, I recommend that you visit it.

元ジャズ・シンガーだったリンダ・シャープ嬢のフレンチィーなヴォーカルがいかすアトランタ出身のバンド。デュラン・デュラン等の８０年代エレポップの影響も大の渋谷系的もとねたも有り。プロデュースはthe Aluminum Groupと同じくパルサーズのDavid Trumfioと言う事で納得。超お勧め。
This is an Atlanta-based band featuring Frenchy vocal of Linda Sharp who used to be a Jazz singer. Their sound is influenced by 80's Electro Pop such as Duran Duran. The producer is David Trumfio of Pulsars, whick makes me understand. Highly recommend!

Rock RecordsのディヴィジョンとしてMinty Fresh Japanのリリースは、されています。\1,365という廉価のコンピです。荒特派員が、jellyfishがMinty Freshなんちゃらと言っていたので、レコード屋でこのコンピが見つけた時、すぐjellyfishが入っている事が分かりました。Minty Fresh自体、アメリカのレーベルなので、混乱を避けるためか、jellyfish TYOとなっています。これも、カッコいい。たしか、SuedoもSuedo Londonとか、アメリカでクレジットされていたような。
Minty Fresh Japan is released as a division of Rock Records. It's a inexpensive compilation priced at \1,365. Correspodnet Ara said something like jellyfish ... Minty Fresh..., I was able to figure out it includes jellyfish when I found this compilation. It is credited as jellyfish TYO, probably to avoid the confusion as Minty Fresh is an American label. But this is a kind of cool. Suedo was also credited as Suedo London in the U. S. if I recall correctly.
