How can people tell the differences between Techno and House? While there are some easy ones to tell, there are many that are hard to tell which as these two cross over. To confuse more, Techno and House are further segmented. For example... Detroit Techno, Pure Techno, Intelligent Techno, Hardcore Techno, Big Beat, Breakbeats, Minimal Techno, Electro Revival Techno. Here I collected what I think are probably House. WARP and REPHLEX are key Techno labels.

<Mr. CY> The Japanese disk has been released. I think
they had a female vocalist with sexy voice.
However, I have not listened to the real
one. Instead, a techno unit "Orbital"
(The duo unit by Hartnol brothers. Their
music was in the movie "JM".) did
sampling of "It's A Fine Day" by
Opus III in their song "Halcyon"
which I have heard.
<Mr. TH> The first album "Mind Fruit" containing
"It's A Fine Day" (This song made
a hit in the U. K.) and the second album
"Guru Mother" was released in 1992
and 1994 or 1995, respectively. Japanese
disks are also issued. While I am not certain,
the Japanese mini album containing remixes
of "It's A Fine Day" was issued.
<Mr. Uehara of ASTRO NOTES> Kirsty Hawkshow who was formerly a vocalist
of Opus III released her solo album "Ultimate
Things this summer. The band was disbanded
after releasing the third album in '94. This
album was her come-back. Opus III got attention
with her strange hair style like Japanese
Samurai with shaved hair except front part
and weird fashion, but she became elegant
beauty in her solo album cover.

<Mr. Uehara of ASTRO NOTES> Jimi Tenor from Finland on WARP is a multi-keyboard player who can even play sax and flute. It's new Techno, but somewhat nostalgic. "Intervision" is a jazzy and soulful album, but "Organism" is a bit strange, comical Electro. He remixed "Shangri-la" by Denki Groove.

This is a British cult Techno band influenced by American West Coast Sound and Canterbury Progressive Rock. They have a good sense by doing sampling of the Eagles' "One Of These Nights" in the album "Every Man And Woman Is A Star". This is my recommendation.

While I have quite a few Techno omnibus albums, I have not listed many of them as it's hard to explain (complicated to judge the style of sound and my lack of information on artist relationship). I will try to at least list the titles. This is easy to understand the concept as Ethnic Techno. But, I knew a few names such as Juno Reactor and UTU (Ken Ishii).
