While it's pretty famous, it was in the blind
spot. As the title says, it's an Electric
Raggae number.

この曲のイントロは殆どユーリズミックスの『スイート・ドリームス』のシンセ・リフですね。しかし夜にサングラスをするなよ。
This song's introduction is almost Eurythmics's
"Sweet Dreams" synthesizer riffs.
But, do not wear sunglasses at night.

ロック・オペラ『チェス』の主題歌としてヒットしたテクノ・ラップ。
This is a Techno Rap which became a major
hit as the theme song of rock opera "Chess".

this is a cover of Yazoo. Very techno.

McCartney, Paul / Fireman, The
- McCartney II [1980] Album
天下のポールもテクノポップに挑戦。ヒットシングル『Coming
Up』も入ってます。『Temporary Secretary』や『Frozen
Japanese』なんかばりばりのテクノポップだ。YMOの『ナイス・エイジ』で「He
is coming up like a flower.」と元SMBのミカのナレーションが入っているが、あれは日本でドラッグ所有で捕まったポールの事を言っている。
Paul challenged Techno Pop! This album includes
a hit single, "Coming Up". "Temporary
Secretary" and "Frozen Japanese"
are super Techno Pop tunes. There is narration
by Mika, ex SMB, saying that "He is
coming up like a flower" in YMO's "Nice
Age", and it is about Paul who was arrested
for drugs in Japan.

The Firemanは、ポールがKilling JokeのYouthと組んでやった変名プロジェクトです。伝統的ビートルズ・ファンにはたぶん受けない、よく似た8〜9分程度のかなりエクスペリメンタルなハウス・トラックが9曲並んでいます。最初聴いた時、延々と同じ曲が、CD一枚分入っているのかと思いました。でも、こういう、流行ものを「僕にもできるんだよ」とやってくれるポールって好きです

Youth of Killing Joke. Th 9 similar pretty
Experimental House tracks with 8 to 9 minites
for each which may not be too appealing
to
traditional Beatles fans are listed. When
I first listen to it, the same long track
is in one CD. But, I like Paul who does"IN"
things like "I can do that, too".

heavy songs, was Queen. "Radio Ga-Ga"
was a popular song with some people.

Oakeyのプロデュースの元にピコピコ・サウンドに乗ったラウンジっぽいクラブ・サウンド。「I
Will Cure You」というアルバムもリリースしています。
As I am not sure how to classify this, I
introduce it here. I did not know who he
is when Mr. Bitter gave it to me. Later I
found that he is a famous comedian in the
U. K. It's a Loungy Club sound with Techno
arrangement produced by Philip Oakey. He
also released the album "I Will Cure
You".
＜Blind YouthのSeanさん＞ Vic Reevesは、僕の大好きなコメディアンの一人です！エレポップのアーティストでは全然ありませんが、Deep
Purpleの1970年のシングル『Black Night』をPhil
Oakeyのプロデュースの元、Human LeagueのJoanne
CatherallとSusanne Sulleyのバックヴォーカルでレコーディングしています。Philは、彼のTVショウ『The
Weekenders』に肉屋さんとして登場しています。
Vicの他のヒット曲として、英国のインディー・バンドの
The Wonder Stuffとの英国ナンバー1ヒットであるTommy
Roeの『Dizzy』のカヴァーとEMFと彼のコメディー・パートナーであるBob
Mortimerとの英国ナンバー3ヒットであるMonkeesの『I'm
A Believer』のカヴァーがあります。

He isn't really synth-pop at all, but he
did record a version of Deep Purple's 1970
single "Black Night", produced
by Phil Oakey with backing vocals by Joanne
Catherall and Susanne Sulley of the Human
League. Phil also appeared in one of his
TV shows ("The Weekenders") as
a butcher (???). Vic's other hits include
a UK Number One with indie band The Wonder
Stuff (a cover of Tommy Roe's "Dizzy")
and a UK Number Three with EMF and his comedy
partner Bob Mortimer (a cover of The Monkees'
"I'm A Believer").

６０年代後半から活躍した英国女性ポップ・シンガー、サンディ・ショウはB.E.F.のプロデュースの元よみがえりました。その後、モリッシーのプロデュースの元、スミスの名曲『Hand
In Glove』のカヴァーをしてヒットを放ちました。
Sandie Shaw, a British female pop singer,
rejuvenated by the production of B.E.F. Later,
she released a hit single covering the Smith's
masterpiece "Hand In Glove" produced
by Morrissey.
Turner, Tina

『Ball Of Confusion』はB.E.F.の往年のスーター復活プロジェクトの中では一番成功したといえるエレクトロ・ファンクな曲です。その後、ティナー・ターナーはB.E.F.の協力のもと『Let's
Stay Together』で第一線に戻る。
"Ball Of Confusion" is an electro
funky song that is the most successful one
in the B.E.F.'s Old Star Rejuvenation project.
Later, Tina Turner returned to the main scene
with "Let's Stay Together" supported
by B.E.F.

The Ventures challenged Techno Pop. They
got the songs from Takahashi (Swimming School's
Bijin Kyoshi), Sakamoto (Mushuku), Hosono
(Octopus Tree) in Y. M. O., and Keiichi Suzuki
(Surfing' USSR), Shigeru Umebayashi in EX
(Theme from No Smoking), etc. produced by
Kazuhiko Kato.

きまぐれニールのおやじもテクノポップに挑戦。アルバムジャケットもタイトルも最高。曲名も『コンピューター・エイジ』、『トランスフォーマー・マン』、『コンピューター・カウボーイ』等テクノしてます。ヴォコーダーでテクノ・カントリー・ロックをする暴れ馬です。
Capricious Neil also challenged Techno Pop!
Both the album jacket and title are so cool.
The names of songs such as "Computer
Age", "Transformer Man", "Computer
Cowboy" are techno-like. He is a crazy
horse of techno country rock with a vocorder.
