スパンダー・バレーはケンプ兄弟を中心に結成された。ニュー・ロマンティクス軍団の中において米国への英国の侵略に成功したデュラン・デュラン、ヒューマン・リーグと並ぶバンドである。その成功を象徴する曲はアルバムタイトルでもある『トゥルー』である。Ｎｏ　ｏｎｅ　ｃａｎ　ｐｕｒｃｈａｓｅ　ｔｒｕｅ．．．たしか、ラップで誰かがカヴァーしたはず。

＜荒特派員＞Gary Kempは今や俳優として活動中で、本国ではゴールデン・ドラマの主役などを務めるまでになったそうです。

Spandau Ballet was formed centering around Kemp brothers. They are one of the successful band which succeed British Invasion to America among the New Romantics groups. The song representing their success is "True" used for the album title. No one can purchase true.... Somebody covered it with rap.
