    25cmミニアルバムでリリースとの情報だったので、CDを見つけたときは感激しました。いい感じで力が抜けたテクポップで個人的にはとても好きな作風。Taxi Girl益々ファンになりました。当時、シングル・リリースしたものを後でコンプライしたものなのでしょう。メンバーは二人になっている模様。

    GEMMで見つけたこのCDシングルしか持っていませんが、この曲は素晴らしい。アコースティックが前面に出ていますが、フレンチなアンニュイ感というのがたまらなく出ていてます。Czerkinskyも参加。

    本名はMirwais Ahmadzaiで、イタリア人とアフガニスタン人のハーフらしい。Madonnaの「Music」と一緒に置いてあった。音はフレンチ・テクノポップからDaft Punkとか現在のフレンチ・テクノへの回答。インスト・中心。
    ＜サトル特派員＞元Taxi Girlのギター奏者。9月14日に全世界同時リリースされるマドンナのニューアルバムで何曲かプロデュースしている（6曲担当したが実際に使われるのは未定らしい）。このアルバムにも1曲、マドンナがボーカルと共同プロデュースで参加。クラブ系のコーナーに有りました。

    His real name is Mirwais Ahmadzai, and he is a half of Italian and Afgranistan. His album was put together with Madonna's "Music". The sound is the answer to current French Techno such as Daft Punk from French Techno Pop. Mainly instrumental.
    <Correspondent Satoru> A guitar player of ex-Taxi Girl. He produced several songs (not sure how many will be used while he produced 6 songs) of new Madonna album which will be released on September 14th worldwide. I this album, Madonna joined as a vocal and co-production for one track. It was in the section of Club Sound.

タクシー・ガールと言ってもガール・バンドではありません。フランスのロックの歴史上とても重要なバンドと位置付けられています。Philippeの協力で、完全アルバム・ディスコグラフィーを上に載せました。
＜Philippe＞タクシー・ガールは母国の最良のバンドの一つです。彼等の最初の２枚のシングル「マネキン」と「Cherchez le Garcon」（男の子を探して）はテクノポップの名曲です。奇妙な自殺的歌詞と日本的インスピレーションと共にストラングラーズとクラフトワークを混ぜたような音楽を作り出した。バンド生活中、彼等は３枚のLPを作った。その後アルバムはバンド解散後リリースされてた。多くのシングルもリリースしている。２〜３のリミックスを除きポスチューン・アルバムに収録されている。アルバム『切腹』はJ. J. Burnelがプロデュースしました。さらなる良作をリリースした後８６年に解散し、ソロとしてのキャリアを歩みだした。Daniel Darcは３枚のアルバムを作り、Mirwaisはタクシー・ガールには及ばないが良質のインディポップであるフランス人モデルのJulietteとJuliette et les Independantsを結成し、２枚のアルバムをリリースした。Julietteは時々ちょっとリオのように歌います。
Taxi Girlの元メンバーのMirwaisから凄いニュースが来ました。彼は次のマドンナのアルバムをプロデュースします。信じられる？一方、彼は新しいソロアルバム『Production』をリリース予定。これが本当のカムバック！

Taxi Girl is not a girl band. They are positioned as a very important band in French Rock history. I listed the complete album discography with Philippe's help.
<Philippe> Taxi Girl is one of the best band in our country. Their 2 first singles "Mannequin" (model) and "Cherchez le Garcon" (looking for the boy) were Techno Pop masterpieces. They created some kind of Stranglers and Kratwerk mix, with strange suicidal lyrics and Japanese inspiration... During the band's life, they only made 3 LPs. The albums after that were released after the band split. They also made many singles. With the exception of a few remixes, everything can be found on the postume albums. Some bonus tracks apprear on the CD versions. Their album "Seppuku" (Samurai's suicide) was produced by J. J. Burnel. They split in 1986, after more great records , and begun solo carriers. Daniel Darc made 3 albums, Mirwais founded Juliette et les Independants, with the French model Juliette which nice Indie-pop music, though not as good as Taxi Girl and released 2 albums. (1989-1993). Juliette sings a little like Lio sometimes...
I've got some incredible news from Mirwais, a former TAXI GIRL member. The guy will produce nothing but the next MADONNA's album! Can you believe that? Meanwhile, he will release his new solo record " Production". That's what I call a come-back !
