ヴィサージ（フランス語で顔という意味）はパンク後のボウイ・ナイトというロンドンのクラブ・シーンから飛び出し、スティーヴ・ストレンジというエキセントリックなキャラクターとエレクトロ・ポップ・サウンドによりニューロマンティクス・ブームの基礎を築いた。『フェイド・トゥー・グレイ』はタイトルに反して今聴いてもあせない名曲である。とくにイントロがいいのである。

Visage (means face in French) came out from Bowie Night club scene in London after punk and they established the foundation of New Romantics boom with eccentric character of Steve Strange and electro pop sound. "Fade To Grey" is an unfading master piece even today contradictory to its title. The introduction is especially good.
